Madam Nexa
Madam Nexa is an original Ball Jointed Doll (BJD) line created by artist Oksana Nedavniaya. She is a costume concept artist for film and TV, and this project represents her work as a doll creator, appearing as a vendor at conventions like the 2026 NYC Doll Convention.
For Madam Nexa, I oversee the full spectrum of brand design, from crafting visual identities to ensuring cohesive representation across all platforms. My core responsibilities include:
- Concept Development: Brainstorming and creating innovative logo and brand identity concepts, supported by mood boards, prototypes, and mockups for client presentations.
- Brand Guidelines: Establishing comprehensive guidelines to maintain consistency in visual communication across all channels.
- Asset Design: Producing a wide range of brand assets for both print and digital media.
- Marketing Collateral: Designing business cards, social media graphics, website visuals, and other promotional materials, ensuring every piece reflects the brand’s identity, tone, and vision.
The Logo
Oksana began creating the Madam Nexa dolls as a deeply personal journey of healing. Honoring this experience, we can highlight the dolls as a tribute to her resilience and transformation. Symbolically, the “two faces” represent the integration of opposing aspects of oneself—the wounded and the healed—signifying a process of embracing both pain and renewal, ultimately fostering personal growth and wholeness.

Brand Traits and Tone
Madam Nexa is where elegance meets enchantment, weaving timeless artistry into every design. Rooted in classical discipline and inspired by the ethereal beauty of history and folklore, the brand is a celebration of femininity, sensuality, and exquisite craftsmanship.
Visual Identity
For the brand’s visual identity, the ornate custom logotype can be inspired by Madam Nexa's world, grounding the design in her unique perspective and artistic vision.
