I had the wicked pleasure of collaborating with Prop Master Theresa Corvino, designing a series of distressed, blood-smeared graphics for the property department. Each piece aged, scarred, and corrupted to feel like it had crawled straight out of a crime scene. 3 from Hell, directed by Rob Zombie, is a grimy, grindhouse descent back into the firestorm that began with The Devil's Rejects. The film resurrects the sadistic trifecta (Baby Firefly, Otis Driftwood, and Captain Spaulding) who claw their way out of a hail of bullets and into the cold fluorescence of prison cells. But cages don’t hold monsters for long.
