In A Foreign Town is based on the stories of acclaimed horror author, Thomas Ligotti. A troubled man recounts a strange childhood journey to a town with no name. In A Foreign Town has been officially selected as one of 6 projects to participate in the 2019 In Development creative forum in Cannes, co-organized by MIPTV and CANNESERIES.

Across the border from the world we know, there is a place that promises our secret dreams…. And brings to life our hidden nightmares. Three unsuspecting Visitors will cross the border seeking freedom from their worries, and instead become trapped in a horror tailor-made just for them.

★ A power-seeking bureaucrat takes a job as the Town Manager and becomes a puppet to forces beyond his control.

★ A Salesman pursuing success in a foreign business deal loses his manhood to the proprietor of the local lodging house.

★ An artist escapes to the security of a factory job and that the boss isn’t at all what he seems.
